Change your Credit Card in Microsoft account

  1. Sign in to account.microsoft.com.
  2. Select the app launcher icon Office 365 app launcher icon in the upper-left and choose Admin.
  3. In the admin center, choose Billing > Subscriptions.
  4. Select the subscription you want to pay for with the new credit card or bank account, then choose Change payment details.

Choose the drop down arrow under Add or select a payment method.

Select the credit card or bank account that you want to use, then choose Submit. If the credit card or bank account that you want to use isn't listed yet, choose New credit card or New bank account to add it.

Phishing attacks aim to steal sensitive data by prompting people to renew Microsoft subscription

The initial scam emails claim that the recipient must renew their Microsoft Office 365 subscription, says Abnormal Security. Phishing campaigns work by impersonating some well-known organization or brand, and that certainly includes a company like Microsoft. With products like Windows, Office, Outlook, and OneDrive prevalent among consumers and businesses, Microsoft is a tempting target for cybercriminals to spoof. Two recent phishing attacks analyzed by security provider Abnormal Security use a subscription renewal as the pitch to trap unsuspecting users.
